M14 success on a double feature day
On Wednesday (2026-09-16) I was range-mapping a rare new Lissodesmus in the Meunna area. As luck would have it, the leaf litter also yielded two thipsels, namely M16 (expected for the area) and a male and female of M14. The only two previous records for M14 are collections by Kevin Bonham and myself from Circular Head in 1999, so it was good to see this thipsel again after 27 years and confirm its distinctiveness.
